The decision of the All Progressive Congress (APC) administration to log into the proposal of providing grazing reserve in Plateau State has ran into mucky waters, as the proposal has created dissatisfaction in the state.

This morning, there are strong indications that the members of the State House of Assembly have called for an emergency session to look into the issues surrounding the Executive’s proposal that still remains to them as speculation.

You would recall that yesterday, while having an interaction with a section of the media, the Deputy Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Yusuf Gagdi, had disclosed that the House was yet to receive any communication from the Executive on the issue of the gazing reserve.

More so, some section of the youths in the state capital yesterday, took to the street in protest of same.
Although the security outfits in the state were able to convince the youths to stop the protest, tension still remains undaunted in the state, as the issue is the talk of the town among any two persons.
Earlier after the pronouncement of the Governor Simon Lalong’s led administration in the state on the grazing reserve, the immediate past governor of the state, Sen. Jonah David Jang and other elites in the state have faulted the Governor’s policy and intent on the grazing reserve.
