CONSIDER KANTANA, AS YOU PROVIDE EDUCATION FOR THE ELDERLY AND NON-LITERATE, PLATEAU STATE DEPUTY SPEAKER PLEADES WITH FG

The Deputy Speaker of Plateau State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Yusuf Gagdi, has appealed to the Federal Government to give attention to the educational needs of the people of Kantana Constituency in Kanam Local Government Area of Plateau state.

The Deputy Speaker made this passionate appeal during the recent advocacy visit of the Executive Secretary of NMEC, led by Mr. Jibril Yusuf Paiko to the state lawmakers in Plateau State.

According to Rt. Hon. Gagdi, his Constituency, Kantana, though a part of Kanam Local Government Area, is not enjoying the educational privileges other parts of the state and the country at large are enjoying. He pleaded that his constituency should be considered, as the federal government makes deliberate efforts to provide a window for the education of the elderly and non-literate persons in the country.

Details on the advocacy visit of NMEC/PAMOJA, coming soon with pictures.
