The Election Petition Tribunal that sat over petition No. EPT/PL/SHA/1/2016, filed by Hon. Mwansat Istifanus Caleb of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, challenging the victory of Hon. Gideon Dashe and the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the rerun election conducted in Phankshin South, has rose to write their judgment which would be delivered on the date that would be communicated to parties in the matter.

You would recall that before closing his case at the hearing, Hon. Caleb and the PDP, tendered 8 documents through the bar, which they had earlier applied for from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). These documents include a letter written to the Election Officer in INEC dated 20/2/2016, from one Ogbonna Chijindu.

On his part, Hon. Dashe  tendered 10 documents and called four witnesses and dispensing with one.
Documents tendered by Hon. Dashe before closing his case, include Certified True Copies of: form EC8A1 for Pyabor polling unit for 2015 election, form EC8B1 for Chip Registration Area, EC8C1 for 12th April, 2015, EC8E1 for 12th April, 2015. The Petition filed by Mwansat, EPT/PL/SHA/9/2016, Respondents Reply for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, the CTC of the Judgment in appeal No. CA/J/EPT/SHA/8/2015 and Voters Registration for Pyabor. In all, 10 exhibits were entered by the Tribunal. 
Among the witnesses called by Dahes include Mr. Dabit Joseph, Mr. D Godfrey, James Damang, and Mr. Ephraim.
