"I Will Prefer Militant Kidnap me than Terrorist", NANS Media Officer



He made this known when reacting to a post credited to one, Mallam Olamilekan Lawal.
The Senior Special Assistance to National Association of Nigeria Students(NANS) Senate President, Honourable Rasaq Ayanlakin popularly addressed as Democrat has said he prefer to be kidnapped by a Militant than a terrorist. 

Mallam Lawal who had posted on social media platforms after the release of Epe School boys, that "there is no difference between  BOKO HARAM who kidnapped the chibok girls and the NIGER DELTA MILITANTS who abducted the Epe School boys." 


However, when Honourable Democrat read the short piece online, he commented that, "If they ask you, whose kidnap would you prefer. That of a Terrorist or a Militant, which would you choose?, To me, I will prefer that a militant kidnap me than a terrorist. Though I detest both sha!" 


Meanwhile, the six Senior Secondary School Students of Lagos Model College, Igbonla, Epe, who were abducted on May 25, 2017, have regained freedom.

They were rescued from Aboto creek, Ilaje Local Government Area of Ondo state , at about 3.30pm yesterday. 

Their release as gathered was effected by the Lagos and Ondo states government and the Nigeria Police.
The students, Pelumi Philips, Farouq Yusuf,Isiaq Isiaq Rahmon, Adebayo George, Judah Agbausi and Peter Jonah were abducted from their school and when the kidnappers established contact with the parents, a ransom of N400m was demanded but this was later reduced to N100m owing to the inability of the parents to meet up with the demand.

The kidnappers were said to have advised the parents to reach out to others and deliberate on how to raise the N100m as well as mounting pressure on the state government to raise the money for them.
