7TH Sept. 2017, NUJ PLATEAU ELECTION: THE WORST ALLEGED CHAIRMAN IN HISTORY, MR. YAKUBU TADDY, WOULD BOW OUT, AS CONTESTANTS PREACH PEACE AND UNITY

By: Our Reporter,

It is no longer news that, before 7th September, 2017, the day slated for election to fill vacant elective positions in the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Plateau State Council, Mr. Yakubu Taddy, would have bowed out, as the worst Chairman of the Council in History.

The contestants for the seat of the Chairman of the Council, bidding to replace Mr. Taddy, have continued in their campaign speeches, to preach peace and promising to reunite a broken Union by Mr. Taddy.

MR. TADDY

The major contestants are, Mr. Putman Amos, from the state’s owned Television Station, PRTVC, just like the out-going alleged failed Chairman and Mr. Paul Jatau, from the state’s owned Newspaper Company, The Nigerian Standard Newspaper, published by, Plateau Publishing Corporation (PPC).

The disunity among members of the Union was never obvious, as during and through the three (3) years reign of Mr. Yakubu Taddy.
This is to the extent that, the lack of harmony among members of the Union occasion by the alleged poor leadership of Mr. Yakubu Taddy, brought   the activities at the PRESS CENTER of the Council to a temporarily shutdown.

Shocking to passerby and members of the Union, the once admired Council’s premises, started growing grasses, as a fallowing farm.

Regrettably also to members, as gathered by REALITY, is the poor communication that was coming to the general public from the stable of the Chairman and his Secretary, Mr. P. Basil, coupled with high level of alleged administrative impunity.

It was therefore not surprising that the contestants for their seats have continued to use this observed areas of alleged failures of Mr. Yakubu Taddy, as pointers in their campaign promises to bring back the glamour, respect, unity and lost glory of the Plateau State Council, as they moved from one Chapel in the state to another in the last few weeks.

HOW, MR. YAKUBU TADDY, DISRESPECTED NUJ NATIONAL OFFICERS IN HIS THREE (3) YEARS, AS CHAIRMAN, COMING SOON!
