The Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Babayo Garba Gamawa has said that the party is in support of the election sequence been proposed by the National Assembly and the majority of the Nigerians, over the forth coming 2019 general elections.
The Deputy National Chairman of the Party, who stated this in Bauchi, while interacting with reporters said, “PDP as a law abiding Party will always respect the wishes of the majority of Nigerians, and PDP respects the views of the members of the National Assembly because, they represent majority of Nigerians, since they are the representatives of the people.
On the issue of election time table, whatever Nigerians want, PDP will support it. We support the views of NASS members on this matter, that election should be separated".
Gamawa, while regretting that Nigerians are facing serious challenges and difficulties in life under the APC administration due to poverty , hunger, diseases and high cost of living, said, the APC led administration in the country has made life difficult for ordinary Nigerian people.
"The living condition of poor man in Nigeria was far better under PDP, unlike the APC that have not been able to fulfill its campaign promises". Gamawa said.
The PDP scribe, who expressed optimism that PDP would come back to power again to improve the living standard of all Nigerians through execution of laudable and people oriented programmes however, urged Nigerians to register and obtain their voters card in order to vote out APC in the 2019 general elections.
