LATE REV. ASAKE: GOV. LALONG CONDOLES CAN AND HIS FAMILY

Gov Simon Lalong has commiserated with the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) on the death of its General Secretary, Dr. Musa Asake.

Governor Lalong, while also expressing the condolence of the Government and people of Plateau State  at the Redeemed Christian Church of God interdenominational service in Jos,  described Rev. Asake,  as a courageous leader.

He said, “Rev. Asake is a great leader and we are going to missing him as a Christian body.’



According to the State Government’s press statement signed by the state Commissioner of Information and Communication, Mr. Yakubu Dati, the Governor, “prayed that God will give the Christian community and the family, the grace to bear the pain of this great loss.”

However, while speaking in his sermon, Pastor E. A. Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Church, who spoke on the theme "Let the fire fall", prayed for continual peace in Plateau State.

The Governor was accompanied by some members of the State Executive Council to the church service.
