BREAKING: UNPAID PROFESSIONAL LEGAL FEE: E. G. PWAJOK (SAN), DRAGS HON. VINCENT B. VENMAN TO COURT, CLAIMS OVER N58 MILLION

Edward Gyang Pwajok (SAN) (doing business in the name and style of Pwajok. Ikwoe & Co) has dragged, Hon. Prince Vincent Venman Bulus, a House of Representatives Member at the Lower Chambers of the National Assembly, representing Langtang-North and Langtang-South Federal Constituency of Plateau State for allegedly refusing to pay him his unpaid Professional Legal Fee.

In the Suit No: CV/3199/24, which came by way of Writ of Summons and filed before the Court of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja, on 10^th July 2024, the Claimant, E. G. Pwajok (SAN), is demanding for:

1.      The sum of N36, 800, 000.00 (Thirty-Six Million, Eight Hundred Thousand Naira) only, being the sum owed the Claimant by the Defendant as Professional Fee for perfecting the instruction of the Defendant in Appeal No: CA/J/EPT/PL/26/2023.

The sum of N22, 000, 000.00 (Twenty-Two Million Naira) only, being the charge for the Defendants defiance and refusal to pay the legal fee charged by the Claimant and agreed by the parties for the prosecution of Appeal Nos: CA/J/EPT/PL/26/2023, CA/J/EPT/PL/25/2023, and CA/J/EPT/PL/HR/37/2023.

2.      10% post Judgment interest per annum till the entire judgment sum is liquidated, and

3.      The cost of the action.
