State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule has assured Civil Servants in the state
that the implementation of the newly approved Seventy Thousand (#70, 000) Minimum
Wage is not negotiable.
Governor
Sule, who spoke through his Senior Special Assistant on Public Affairs, Mr.
Peter Ahemba said, “All necessary arrangements have been put in place in order
to ensure the immediate implementation of the new wage for workers”.
On
the endless Tiv, Alago crisis, Engineer Sule, explained that there is a strong
dialogue going on between the Tiv and Alago communities, while give assurance
that an amicable resolutions would be reached among the warring communities
that would lead to a permanent peace in the war ravage communities soon.
While expressing his profound gratitude to
media practitioners in the state for the constant publicity given his
administration, the Governor promised that his administration would create the
necessary environment for Journalists to practice their trade more.
On the pioneer flyover being constructed by
his administration, Governor Sule said that the project would go a long way in
improving the image and standard of the state capital.
Adding
that, “the fly over would also go a long way in reducing the traffic congestion
within the state capital”.
According to the Governor, “the effort is to
give the state a new face”.
He
further disclosed that his administration is currently embarked on the
construction of two to three road networks in each Local Government Councils of
the state.
