Prophet Isa El-Buba, Solomon Dalung (ESQ), Praise IBBN for Redefining Empowerment of Nigerians, As Millions Are Expected to Benefit

Prophet Isa El-Buba, Convener of the Initiative for a Better and Brighter Nigeria (IBBN) a platform which services also as an Inter-faith Alliance, and Solomon Dalung (Esq), a former Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (FRN) have lauded the initiative of the body to train Nigerians to be self-reliant.

They both stressed that the leaders of this country have colluded for years to keep the poor under the bondage of poverty, by constantly giving them little money, and food stuffs, as a way of empowerment.

In an on-the-sport interview with Journalists at the opening and awareness training program by IBBN, held at Plateau State Cultural Centre Luka Bentu Indoor Theatre, Jos, the duo disclosed that their  hearts bleed for the suffering of Nigerian, as poverty, and insecurity continue  to bedeviling the country especially, Northern Nigeria.

 The Convener Prophet El-Buba, and Solomon Dalung, explained that the initiative of the IBBN, is a buildup, after the protest that ended up in August 2024.

They said, “What we actually want is to empower the citizens and bring about transformation in their lives on self-reliance”.

Isa El-Buba emphasized that the need for introducing the Empowerment Scheme starting with Plateau State, was born because, the protest that kick start in Plateau State has created the awareness of the various campaign and government fake promises especially, from present politicians.

He maintained that they organized the program to encourage the people and train them on how they can defend their rights and engage their leaders on meaningful development and not to continue use them as political thugs.

Isa stressed that the idea came from diverse tribes and religious background as a way enable the masses check the affairs of those in government.

SOLOMON DALUNG, FORMER MINISTER

 The duo adding that, “This is a breakthrough that we can come together devoid of ethnic and religious backgrounds. It also shows that the masses if given the needed training and awareness, they can have the ability and capacity to pull the string together.”
