The Nigerian Medical Association Plateau State branch has trained 47 Journalists on the process of healing and rescue on the issue of Anaesthesia that is already becoming a pandemic.
You would recall that the world Anaesthesia Day is also set aside to mark the World Heart Day.
The 47 participants in the One-Day workshop organized by the NMA in collaboration with the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Plateau State Council, on Wednesday, 16th October 2024, at the NUJ Plateau State Conference Hall, were chosen across the 10 chapels that make up the Council.
The participants were made to know that Anaesthesia is “A state of controlled temporary loss of sensation or awareness that is induced for medical or veterinary purposes. That it may also include Paralysis, Amnesia, and Unconsciousness, among others”.
