JUST IN: Jos North Local Government Council Swears In New Secretary, Pharmacist Gyang Samuel Ishaya

The Executive Chairman of Jos North Local Government Council, Hon. Barrister. John Kyoroh Christopher has sworn in Pharmacist Gyang Samuel Ishaya, as the new Secretary of the Council.

The ceremony which took place yesterday, 15/10/2024, at the Local Government Council, was witnessed by a mammoth crowd.

You would recall that the Chairman had announced the appointment of Pharmacist Gyang Samuel Ishaya, as the new Council's Secretary immediately he resumed office three days ago.

REALITY gathered that Pharmacist Ishaya, holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from Pune University, India, amongst other qualifications.

The Chairman hopes that Pharmacist Ishaya would bring his wealth of experience to the role, having been engaged in private practice and serving as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), of Sarengs Global Pharmacy Nigeria Ltd.

 In his remarks, Pharmacist Ishaya Gyang thanked the Chairman for giving him the opportunity to serve, pledging his unwavering loyalty and commitment to justify the confidence reposed in him.

In their goodwill messages, Special Adviser to the Governor on Entertainment, Esther Dusu, the immediate past Transition Implementation Committee, Chairman of the Council, Samuel Umaru and the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Chairman of Jos North, Elijah Itsegot, who spoke separately, promised to support the Chairman and his team to enable them succeed.
