The new Executive Chairman of Jos-North Local Government Council (LGC), Hon. John K. Christopher, has finally resumed duties officially, after he was sworn in by the State Governor, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang.
The Council Chairman on resumption, and as a first duty, toured the Local Government offices in company of the Director of Personnel Management (DPM), Mr. Suleiman, while special prayers were offered on his behalf for the success of the his administration by the staff of the Council present.
The Chairman, Hon. Chris there after took time to visit most people around and finally paid homage to the Traditional rulers in the Local Government.
Some of the Traditional Rulers he visited were, the Ujah Anaguta, Pozoh Johnson Magaji, the Adagwon Jos Izere, Emmanuel Ajik, as well as the Acting Gwom Kabong, Da Anthony Hwere.
He was accompanied by his wife Tina and the Deputy.
The Chairman requested for the Traditional Ruler's divine blessings and guidance for a fruitful tenure.
In their separate responses, the Ujah Anaguta, Adagwom Izere Jos North, and the Acting Gwom Kabong congratulated the Chairman and his Deputy on assuming leadership and assured them of the Traditional Council's support.
The Royal Fathers appreciated Governor Mutfwang for his fairness and justice, while appealing to citizens to support and cooperate with the administration.
