The Plateau State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has rescheduled its rerun Primary Election for JOS NORTH/ BASSA FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY for the 26th February, 2022 Bye election, to Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State.
You would recall that, the first Primary election that took place at Lamonde Hotel in Jos North Local Government Area produced a tie.
According to a press statement, dated the 3rd of February, 2022, announcing the rescheduled Primary election, signed by Hon. Sylvanus Namang, the APC State Publicity Secretary, the rescheduled rerun Primary election would take place in Bassa LGA.
Adding that, “the rerun Primary election would hold on Friday (Today) 4th February, 2022, at Bassa Local Government Secretariat, Jebbu Bassa, 10:00 am prompt.
“Delegates, who took part in the 1st and 2nd February,2022 primary election are to take note and participate in the rerun election accordingly”.

RERUN PRIMARY ELECTION FOR JOS NORTH/ BASSA FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY FOR THE FEBRUARY 26TH, 2022 BYE ELECTION.
Following the tie recorded by two aspirants, namely Honourable Abe Joseph Aku and Honourable Suleiman Yahaya Kwande at the All Progressives Congress, APC, primary election for the Jos North/Bassa Federal Constituency 26th February, 2022 bye- election , a rerun primary election has been scheduled for tomorrow
Friday 4th February, 2022. The Venue is the Bassa Local Government Secretariat, Jebbu Bassa.
Time is 10:00 a.m prompt.
Delegates who took part in the 1st and 2nd February,2022 primary election are to take note and participate in the rerun election accordingly.
The Independent National Electoral Commission and personnel of security agencies in the state are by this notice, invited to attend as observers of the exercise.
