PLATEAU: "OUR PRIMARY ELECTION FOR JOS BASSA/JOS NORTH, WILL NEVER BE INCONCLUSIVE LIKE THAT OF APC"---HON. OROGU, TELLS PDP DELEGATES AT VENUE

Hon. Francis Orogu, the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party’s Committee, saddled with the responsibility of conducting the Primary Election for Bassa/Jos-North Federal Constituency of Plateau State, aimed at picking a candidate for the party has promised delegates at the venue of the election that the exercise would not be inconclusive.

While welcoming the delegates from Bassa/Jos north for the exercise at Lamonde Hotel Jos, Hon. Orogu, who is also the Chairman of PDP in Nasarawa State, said that, “PDP is an organized party and so, cannot conduct an inconclusive primary election like what the All Progressives Congress (APC) did in this same hall yesterday.”

DELEGATES

“We must prove this feat, which we are known for, to set another example. God willing, I will want to submit the report of this election today and successful too, to the party’s headquarters”.

The over 280 PDP delegates, who came very early for the exercise, began voting by 12noon as planned by the Committee, starting with delegates from Bassa Local Government Area, Ward after Ward.

You would recall that, the Three Aspirant contesting to be the PDP’s flag bearer in the forthcoming rerun election to be conducted by INEC this month in order to fill the vacant seat at the National Assembly are: Hon. Jonathan Dabo, Hon. David Racha and Hon. Avia Musa Agah, all from Bassa LGA.

In attendance at the venue before the voting commenced were the state Chairman of the PDP, Hon. Hassan, the Northern Zonal Chairman of the PDP, Hon. Mann, Hon. Dusu, Hon. Z. David, the Organizing Secretary of the PDP, Hon. Yakubu Chocho, David Racha, Hon. Musa Agah, Hon. Jonathan Dabo, among others.
