ONE YEAR OF BARR. MUTFWANG’S ADMINISTRATION: WE ARE GRATEFUL IN JOS NORTH—CHAIRMAN, HON. SAMUEL DALA UMARU

As the Nation, Plateau State people, and Nigerians at large, prepare to celebrate the coming Democracy Day and the One Year in office of most elected political office holders, the Chairman of Jos North Local Government, Hon. Samuel Dala Umaru has described the Governor Caleb Mutfwang (Esq) of Plateau State, as a blessing to his Local Government Area (LGA).

Hon. Dala, in an exclusive interview with REALITY at his office, said that the Governor has fulfilled, 90% of the promises he made to the electorate, especially the people of Jos North Local Government.

NASARAWA: OIL AND GAS EXPLORATION IN OBI: THE STATE WOULD SOON BE AMONG COMMITTEE OF OIL PRODUCING STATES—GOV. SULE

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has expressed confidence that the ongoing Oil and Gas exploration in Obi Local Government Area (LGA) of the state would no doubt place the state amongst the committee of “Oil Producing States” in the country.

In an address at an Investment Summit organized by the State Government on Wednesday, Engineer Sule, called on investors in the areas of oil and gas sector to continue to show great interest in the oil and gas activities currently going on in the state.

NASARAWA: BREAKING: APC SEC MEMBERS PASS VOTE OF CONFIDENCE ON GOV. SULE, STATE CHAIRMAN, ALH. ALIYU

The National Executive Committee of the All Progressive Congress APC in Nasarawa State has described as baseless and mischievous the recent agitations on social media for the immediate resignation of the state Party Chairman, Alh. Aliyu Bello, based on the allegations that he was not democratically elected to fill the vacant position.

 Addressing Media Practitioners in Lafia on Monday, the State Secretary of the party, Mr. Yairus Daguza explained that such falsehoods are capable of ridiculing the good reputation of the party in the eyes of right-thinking persons.

The party Secretary recalled that in August last year the party held its meeting with the sole aim of finding a replacement for the then-state party Chairman, Mr. John Mamman, who was appointed Commissioner in the state, as a Cabinet Member of the State Executive Council.

DR. DAKUM @ 66: HIS MEDIA TEAM AND SUPPORTERS, POUR OUT TRIBUTES, REJOICE IN JOS

Yesterday would go down in the History of Plateau State as, “Dr. Patrick Dakum’s Day”, as his some of his loyal Supporters and his Media Team, led by Shabul Mazadu, came out in their numbers to celebrate the Astute Politician at 66.

The event which took place at his former campaign office while he was vying for the Plateau State Governorship Seat in 2023, was loaded with activities, such as dancing, and eating, among other merriments.

While welcoming guests and Journalists to the event, Dr. Dakum’s Media Consultant, Mr. Shabul Mazadu, who took time to explain the essence of the celebration, described the 2023 Plateau State Gubernatorial candidates under the platform of the Labour Party (LP), as an “Astute Politician” and a “Dogged Statesman”, who has an unwavering love for the state and humanity.

NASARAWA: GOV. SULE, VISITS THE CORRESPONDENTS’ CHAPEL, CALLS FOR MORE COOPERATION FOR THE STATE'S DEVELOPMENT

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has reaffirmed his commitment to the overall development of the state.

He said this would be achieved through the provision of basic social infrastructure for the benefit of the citizens in the state by his administration.

The Governor, who spoke through his Senior Special Assistant on Public Affairs, Mr. Peter Ahemba, during a courtesy visit to members of the Correspondent's chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Nasarawa State Council, explained that the Governor means well for the state and its citizens while adding that, “all that is expected from the citizenry is their total support and cooperation with the government”.

NO PROOF OF SERVICE: THE CASE BETWEEN SUPERFINE FURNITURE VS YAKUBU C. JANG, STALLED

The case between Superfine Furniture and Yakubu C. Jang at the Chief Magistrate Court, Giring Abattoir in Jos, Plateau State, could not commence today, 9th May 2024, as the Chief Magistrate Court could not find proof of service of the Court’s Summons on Yakubu Jang in the Court’s file.

The matter has been adjourned to the 10th of June 2024 to enable proper service.

PLATEAU: Tin City Metro: MY ADMINISTRATION IS DEDICATED TO EXAMPLARY LEADERSHIP—GOV. CALEB MUTFWANG (ESQ)

The Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang (Esq) has reassured the people of Plateau State that his administration’s dedication is to exemplary leadership.

He made this reminded yesterday while commissioning the new Tin City Metro Urban Transportation at the Old Government House Rayfield.

According to the Governor, his administration is guided by the principles of integrity, Character, the fear of God, and a deep-seated love for the state.
