By: Amb. Valentine Adese (JP)

The Plateau State chapter of the Action Democratic Party (ADP) has raised alarm that some unknown persons have started impersonating the party in Plateau State and have also started engaging in activities that are exclusive to the party and its elected officers.

The party has therefore warned the general public to be aware of this new development.

The party Chairman in the state, Hon. Bitrus Boyi Ngah, in a press statement made available to REALITY stated that the party would hence forth use the arm of the Law to arrest the situation, if the perpetrators refused to adhere to the warning.

In a telephone interview with REALITY, the Chairman advised the general public to have direct contact with the State Publicity Secretary of the party, Mrs. Yemeh John, with respect to any formal information regarding the party or its elected officials representing the state in all capacity.

Adding that “It is very wrong and sad for one to open platforms for officials of the party or elected members of the chapter at both state and national levels, including obtaining documents on behalf of the party without authorization.

“We have also noticed that these perpetrators have also adopted a condemnable approach of reaching to our elected officials at the State and National Levels, even going to their private home to induce them for approvals to engage in activities that are basically the functions of elected EXCO members of the party in the state.

“These perpetrators and their acts must stop!” He warned.
