PLATEAU: CRUDAN SENDS FORTH ITS PAST EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR IN ITS 2023 AGM

Christian Rural and Urban Development Association of Nigeria (CRUDAN) has officially send forth its immediate past Executive Director, Mrs. Ruth Dul, who served in that capacity as the first female Executive Director.

Mrs. Ruth Dul alongside two board members, Mr. Mamman Twan (Pharmacist) and Hauwa Bature were given gifts and appreciated for the service rendered in the past years.

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) which was held on Friday, 1st December, 2023 at CRUDAN Headquarters’ Conference Hall, Sabon Barki, Bukuru Jos South, Plateau State, witnessed the presence of members, Zonal Coordinators, Directors, Members Board of Trustees, Management Committee Members, Staff and Stakeholders.

The Chairman of CRUDAN Board, Dr. Patrick Katuka, while giving his report firstly, expressed thanks to God for the opportunity He gave to him and for the gathering which is taking place both physically and virtually in this year’s Annual General Meeting.

He reiterated, the commitment of the Board in seeing that the teachings and practice that Christ handed over are upheld, even as they run an all- inclusive administration that welcome criticism and corrections.

He further called on all participants to be committed and attentive to the meeting as crucial matters shall be discussed.

In part he said, “I will plead with you all as stakeholders of this organization to give your undivided attention and commitment to this meeting because of the crucial nature of this year’s AGM.

“Over the past one year, a lot of things have happened, some positive, while some are quite disturbing to everyone that means well for the existence and sustenance of this organization”.

“Despite the various challenges in the country the Board has continued to stand strong and tall till the first day of December, and have recorded some achievement in this year under review which includes the appointment of the current Executive Director in the person of Mr. Joseph Gyandi after the retirement of his predecessor Mrs. Ruth Dul.

“Other achievement are, acquisition of landed properties that extended the CRUDAN Headquarters building, the humanitarian unit had successfully concluded the NHF project and secured new funding ftom OXFAM, one year grant from GIZ and many others”.
