ALLEGED FRESH LETTER TO SECURITY AUTHORITIES: FEAR RISES IN POLICE, WARDER’S BARRACKS IN PLATEAU STATE

By: Valentine Adese (JP),

There are strong indications that, tensions are high at the Police and Warder ’s barracks in Plateau State, over alleged fresh letter written to their authorities, putting them on notice of another invasion by unknown group.

Although REALITY is still investigating the information, the fears in the barracks are visible.

During a random interview today by REALITY, the issue of the alleged letter REALITY can authoritatively stated is been discussed in groups in the two barracks.

Speaking, some of the security officers, who spoke to REALITY (anonymously), disclosed that, the fresh letter was sent to their authorities two days after the last reported jail break of the Jos Federal Prison.

JOS PRISON

You would recall that, the last prison break saw over 250 inmates freed by the unknown gunmen that invaded and violated the prison security, despite the close proximity of other sister security formations around the Medium Correctional Center

Those, who spoke to this paper at the barracks are worried that, though the last prison break recorded minimal casualty, a revisit by same unknown gunmen, would be better imagined, as the awareness of their alleged planned return is close to “zero” and even treated more secretively.

They expressed their fears to further include, the low man power, lack of enough guns and ammunitions to match their last experience, and the non-fencing of their barracks.

It is of note that, only a running drainage separates the prison barracks from the Police barracks in Jos, the capital of Plateau State.

MORE TO COME…..
