DISCONTINUATION OF CASE: PLATEAU STATE APC CHAIRMAN HON. BATURE, COMMENDS HON. ISHAYA ITSE, OTHER CLAIMANTS

The Chairman of the Plateau State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Rufus Bature has commended the Claimants in suit, No: PLD/J/500/2021, led by, Hon. Ishaya Itse, for discontinuing the case in order to foster and promote more of the unity needed in the chapter.

You would recall that, the Plateau State High Court, today, presided over by, Hon. Justice S P. Gang, struck out the matter owing to the Notice of Discontinuance by the Claimants filed on their behalf by their Counsel, N. D. Gwaison (Esq).

In a press statement signed by the APC State Publicity Secretary, Hon. Sylvanus Namang, dated 2^nd December, 2021, Hon. Bature, described the claimants and their action(s) as that of democrats, who have the interest in the development of the party in the state at heart.

Adding that, “The beauty of democracy resides in the fact that, individuals and groups are bound to disagree to agree”.
