JUST IN: PLATEAU 2023 GOVERNORSHIP RACE: KANKE PDP CAUCUS MANY SUBMIT POSITION FOR ADOPTION BY STATE, ON OR BEFORE, 9TH APRIL

By: Valentine Adese (JP) and Label Daniel Musuka,

There are strong indications that, the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) Caucus in Kanke Local Government Area (LGA) and within the Panshin, Kanke and Kanam (PKK) Federal Constituency of Plateau State may join the Ngas group to submitting its position on the forthcoming 2023 Governorship race in the state.

REALITY gathered that, though there is a sealed lip over the resolution of the Caucus during its meeting in Jos, the capital of Plateau State recently, the news that the body may tender its position to the State Executive Council on or before the 9th of April, 2022, is causing worries and anxiety among Aspirants that may have picked forms to contest in the forthcoming, 2023 general election especially, for the Governorship seat.

You would recall that the PDP had extended the dead line for Aspirants to pick form to the 8th of April, 2022 to enable more Aspirants have the opportunity of doing so.

However, at the time of filing this report, only Dr. Timothy Golu is reported to have purchased and presented his forms to the Ngas Nation in PKK.

In another development, Pam Jang, the eldest son of the former governor of Plateau State, Sen. Jonah Jang, has picked his form to contest for the Jos-South/Jos-East House of Representatives seat, alongside, the Speaker of Plateau State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ayuba Abok, and Musa Ashoms.
