DR. DAKUM @ 66: HIS MEDIA TEAM AND SUPPORTERS, POUR OUT TRIBUTES, REJOICE IN JOS

Yesterday would go down in the History of Plateau State as, “Dr. Patrick Dakum’s Day”, as his some of his loyal Supporters and his Media Team, led by Shabul Mazadu, came out in their numbers to celebrate the Astute Politician at 66.

The event which took place at his former campaign office while he was vying for the Plateau State Governorship Seat in 2023, was loaded with activities, such as dancing, and eating, among other merriments.

While welcoming guests and Journalists to the event, Dr. Dakum’s Media Consultant, Mr. Shabul Mazadu, who took time to explain the essence of the celebration, described the 2023 Plateau State Gubernatorial candidates under the platform of the Labour Party (LP), as an “Astute Politician” and a “Dogged Statesman”, who has an unwavering love for the state and humanity.

The line of description was also followed by other speakers who spoke after Shabul, as they poured out tributes and testimonies concerning Dr. Dakum.

The occasion also provides an opportunity for those present to express their admiration and appreciation, for his leadership and the fatherly role, which have given them hope for a better future.

In his remarks, his media consultant and one of the organizers of the celebration, Mr. Shabul Mazadu said that though Dakum was not presently in the country they found it necessary to celebrate him on this special Birthday at 66.

He said, “I want to extend my warmest birthday wishes to a dedicated and astute politician who has continually demonstrated a commitment to serving the people with integrity and passion. Your leadership, vision, and unwavering dedication to public service have inspired many and have made a positive impact on the lives of countless individuals”.

While reeling out some of DR. Dakum’s qualities and milestone achievements, Shabul further said “Dakum is always sincere in his tireless efforts in advocating for the needs of the downtrodden and working towards the betterment of humanity as a whole”.

Other personalities who spoke during the brief but colorful birthday celebration were Timzin Miri Dashe, Yonwul Christopher and Jerry Bako among other notable supporters and friends of Prof. Patrick Dakum.

In their remarks, they further described Patrick Dakum as a true son of Plateau whose love for his people remains unshaken. They pray for him to succeed in all his endeavors.

Also to add color to the celebration and cover the event, members of the Independent Publishers Association (IPA) were present.

In one voice, that also wished the celebrant “Happiness, good health, and success in all his endeavors”.
