Anambra: Two Lawmakers Announce Their Defection, From PDP To APC

Two members of the Anambra State House of Assembly, yesterday, October 5th 2021, at plenary, officially announced to their colleagues that they have successfully crossed over from the People’s Democratic party (PDP) to the All Progressive Congress (APC)

The two legislatures are Minority leader and member representing Ekwusigo constituency, Hon. Onyibuchi Ofor and Hon. Douglas Nwachukwu, the member representing Onitsha North 1 constituency

Hon. Onyibuchi Ofor stated that, the reason he defected from PDP to APC was based on family advice.

Speaker Anambra State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Uche Okafor wished the Lawmakers well in their new party.

It would be recalled that, last month, REALITY reported that, Hon. Timothy Ifedioramma, Chief whip and member representing Dunukofia constituency, Hon. Lawrence Ezeudu, Member representing Nnewi North Constituency, Hon. Nonso Smart Okafor and the member representing Aguata 1 constituency, Hon Carter Dike Umeh defected from the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) to the All Progressive Congress APC.
