The Members of Anambra State House of Assembly have summoned the Director, Estate Management Development Corporation, Mr. Anthony Nwofor.
Member representing Aniocha 2 constituency and also the Deputy Chairman House Committee on Public Petitions, Hon. Ejike Okechukwu, at plenary called the attention of the Lawmakers regarding a resolution passed by the Lawmakers concerning, Mr. Anthony Nwofor, over a land deal against, Mrs. Gladys Amaka Ejikeme, which the Committee on Public Petitions deliberated and invited the parties involved, after visiting the site and presented the report to the House.
After looking into the merits of the report presented, it was resolved that, Mr. Anthony Nwofor, should refund, Mrs. Gladys Amaka Ejikeme, the sum of 13.5 million naira within six weeks.

The Speaker, Rt. Hon. Uche Okafor said, it is not proper for the resolution of the House to be ignored. He therefore called on the Clark to write a letter to Mr. Nwofor, inviting him to plenary for proper explanation.
The Lawmakers resolved that, Mr Anthony Nwofor, be summoned and appear at plenary on October 21th 2021 to explain, “why he did not obey the resolution”.
