Plateau State Independent Electoral Commission (PLASEC) officials, arrived at the Gangare Polling Units of the GSS, Railway and Yandoya, by 8:20. And at 8:40am the accreditation started in all the three units.
Areas like, Garba Daho Ward particularly, the Yantaya Mosque, the official were at the voting spot at 8:05am and they immediately commenced the process, but with low turnout of voters, with not even 3 people in 009 unit.
The situation is the same in unit 001 in Terminus axis of Yantaya. The voters as at 9:50am were only 3.
But the situation is different in Anguwan Rogo and Anguwan Rimi areas of Jos north. The voting materials arrived in time and as at 10am many have finished and back to their respective homes.
The situation in Sarkin Arab Ward is that, voters were waiting for materials as at 8:45am in Dodo street unit 006 and Williams street unit 002.
But, the situation in unit 001, along Maternity Hospital, saw many people exercising their franchise, as postulated by Auwalu Oluse an Agent with APC.
While in there our reporter observed that at the polling unit , only few voters were at Yenshanu area of Rikkos in Jos North Local Government.
