Finally, the tussle between Yohanna Margif and Dr. Patrick Dakum on who is the governorship candidate for the Labour Party (LP) in Plateau state has being put to rest, as the Supreme Court has dismissed the Appeal filed by Margif challenging the judgment of the Court of Appeal, Jos Division, today.
This judgment has also re-elevated the statue of the Labour Party (LP), as a party to beat come 18th March, 2023.
You would recall that, the youths in Plateau State, who are the major supporters and movers of the Labour Party, have waited for this day for a very long time.
With the dispute in the party now settled by the Supreme Court, pundits in the state are of the opinion that, the combination of Dr. Patrick Dakum/ Edward Pwajok (SAN), as governor and deputy is a done deal come 11th March, 2023.
You would recall that, REALITY had this morning earlier reported that, the Appeal filed by Yohanna Margif at the Supreme Court, challenging the Judgment delivered by the Court of Appeal Jos Division in favour of the Governorship candidature of Dr. Patrick Dakum/ Edward Pwajok’s ticket on the platform of the Labour Party (LP) comes up today.
REALITY also reported that, parties in the matter have been served notices regarding the sitting of today.
