NASARAWA: GOV. SULE TAKES CAMPAIGN, FREE MEDICAL TREATMENT TO ORIYE RINDER’S PALACE, GETS HONOURED WITH A TITLE

A Traditional Ruler in Nasarawa State, the Oriye Rindre, Alhaji Musa Lawal Nagogo has assured Governor Abdullahi Sule of his people’s total support for his second term bid.

Receiving the Governor and his campaign team in his palace yesterday, the Royal Father explained that, the people of the state would be doing a great disservice to the Governor, if they abandoned him in his quest to serve the state for a second term after he has done so much for them.

According to the Oriye Rindre, what the people of the state are now waiting for is the second swearing in ceremony of Governor Sule, while firmly adding that, “the election has already been won and lost”.

Alh. Nagogo, who later honoured the Governor with a Traditional title of Dokaji Wamba, which is also the title of the Governor’s late friend, and who then doubled, as his Special Adviser on Special Duties, Alh. Murtala Lamus.

The Royal Father, advised the Governor to always seek the blessings of parents, while going out for his campaign, as he has been doing rather than, bowing before any “Mallam”, to seek for such blessings.

According to him Alh. Nagogo, “parental blessings are of immense reward than other one”.

He assured the Governor that, as soon as, he was prepared and ready the doors of the palace would be thrown opened for him to come for his turban ceremony.

Earlier, Governor Sule, had expressed his profound gratitude to the Traditional Ruler, for granting him permission to use of his palace for the conduct of a Free Medical Treatment, which is a major cardinal point of his campaign tour of the state.

He said since the start of his campaign, the Free Medical Treatment team has been with them.

Governor Sule explained further that, the gesture for the Free Medical Treatment is aimed at assisting the less privileged in the society who cannot afford the huge hospital bills in the hospitals.

Engineer Sule however, thanked the Oriye Rindre for the honour and the Traditional title.

He said he felt strengthen with the assurance of the total support for his second term bid by the Royall Father and therefore promised to reciprocate the kind gesture.
