BREAKING: MR. EMMANUEL MACHAM IS SUSPENDED FROM PDP, AT HIS DAFOO WARD IN BOKKOS LGA

Mr. Emmanuel Macham, who recently contested for the Publicity Secretary office of the Plateau State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has been suspended from the party at his Dafoo Ward in Bokkos Local Government Area (LGA) of Plateau State.

This suspension is contained in a letter addressed to Mr. Emmanuel Macham personally, dated 1st November, 2021, sighted by the inquisitive eyes of REALITY.

From the face of the letter, the suspension letter of Mr. Macham was copied to the Bokkos LGA Chairman of the PDP, the State Chairman and the PDP Vice Chairman Central Zone.

According to the 22 signatories to the suspension, constituting of Elders and Ward Executives, Mr. Macham is being suspended because, he has refused to change in his attitude and attacks on the leadership of the party from the Ward to the State level.

The letter in part reads:-

“Following your unrepentant antagonistic posture to the Party Leadership of our great party, the PDP across all strata of the Party (Ward, LGA and State levels), your series of publication as well as your physical engagements against the party and its Leadership has come to limelight.

“The PDP Ward Executive Committee of Daffo Ward conveyed a meeting on the 1st November, 2021 with some critical Stakeholders/Elders of the Party at the Ward level and unanimously approved your suspension from the Party upon considering your actions to be unhealthy and capable of truncating the unity and stability enjoyed by the party at all levels.

“Therefore, your actions is in clear violation of the provisions of chapter 10, section 58(1) (b), (d), (f), (g), (h), (i) and (J) of the PDP Constitution (as amended 2017).

“In line with section 59(1) (g) of the Party’s constitution, you are hereby suspended from the Party with an immediate effect.

“You are to appear before a Disciplinary Committee at Ward level”.
