PLATEAU: NIPR ORGANIZED, "CITIZENS SUMMIT FOR NATIONAL INTEGRATION, PEACE AND SECURITY", TO HOLD ON 16TH NOV. 2021--SPOKESMAN

The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) is organizing a Citizens Summit, which is to hold on the 16th of November, 2021. REALITY just gathered.

The Citizens Summit in Jos, Plateau State, according to its organizers is for “National Integration, Peace and Security in the nation.

This was disclosed by NIPR’s Spokesperson, A. Harun (Esq), during a press briefing at the NUJ Press Center Jos, today.

According to the Spokesman, Harun (Esq), the summit is targeted at, “Mending relationships, rebuilding trust and reopening conversation across the nation, Creating new Nigerians that would build the new Nigeria, Activate a Non-partisan Process for national Reconciliation, and Promote a new National Communication Thrust based on mutual respect, love and non-violence”.

While fielding answers to questions from Journalists, Harun said that, NIPR as a professional body has carefully identified credible and like-minded organizations to build a broad-based partnership platform from:

  1. Professional bodies
  2. Labour Organizations
  • Civil Society Organizations
  1. Media Organizations
  2. Religious Organizations.

While adding that, “NIPR would build and work with partnership organizations at two levels, Professional Bodies, Government Agencies and Civil Society Organizations”.

It is of note that NIPR has, Mallam Mukhtar Zubairu Sirajo,FNIPR, as President and Chairman of Council, ACG Wale Adeniyi, mnipr, as Vice President, DR. Ike Neliaku, FNIPR, as Chairman National Planning Committee for the Citizens Summit for National Integration, Peace and Security, Comrade Mohammed H. Ibrahim, mnipr, as Vice Chairman National Planning Committee and Michael Faloseyi, mnipr, as Secretary National Planning Committee
