PHILANTHROPIC ACTIVITIES: IPA COMMENDS, Dr. HARUNA TIMCHANG IN PLATEAU STATE

The entire members of Independent Publishers Association (IPA) in Plateau State, have commended, Dr. Ibrahim Timchang Haruna (FCAN), for his tremendous philanthropic activities that are currently touching lives of citizens across board in the state.

This commendation is coming, after the members of the Association have taken time to go round the state to assess the impact of Dr. Haruna’s contribution to the wellbeing of various communities in the state.

According to IPA’s press statement signed by its Chairman, Mr. Shabul Mazadu, concerning the philanthropic activities of Mr. Haruna, the Association in part stated that, “ It suffice that, we mention among others, his noble achievements, which are:

“Donation and installation of traffic lights at British – America Junction worth N13m; facilitated employment of 120 Plateau indigenes into various Federal Government Parastatals, empowered 12 youths with brand new motorcycles; sponsoring 13 students currently studying at College of Health Zuba, Madalla, Niger State, distributed palliatives to the less privileged during the Covid-19 pandemic and lots more too numerous to mention”.

IPA statement also added that, “His philanthropic activities have no political strings attached, but community service to his mother state.

“IPA is highly elated with his gesture and saying more grease to his elbows”.

IPA also used the statement to appeal to those with the wherewithal to emulate, Dr. Haruna and be magnanimous by giving back to the society particularly, at this time of serious challenges”.
