NASARAWA: JOIN HANDS WITH PRESIDENT TINUBU, GOV. SULE URGES MR. PETER OBI

By: Wilson Bako (Lafia),

Nasarawa State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule has charged the Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the 2023 Presidential election, Mr. Peter Obi, to put aside all political/party differences and throw his weight behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in his current untiring efforts to rescue the country out its present economic turmoil.

While receiving the Labour Party (LP) Presidential Candidate, who is currently on tour of the country in Nasarawa State, Governor Sule, explained that the time for politics has come and gone and possibly forgotten.

The Governor pointed out that, it is now time for people like him (Mr. Peter Obi), to join hands with the President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to fast-track both the growth and development of the Nation.

"There is time for Politics and time for Governance. I want to advise and urge you to bring to bear your wealth of experience and expertise to support the Tinubu-led administration in his ongoing struggle to reshape the Nation and make it a better place for all to live in." Governor Sule emphasized.

The Governor was optimistic that having known Mr. Obi for quite some time, the Labour Party Presidential Candidate has vast knowledge, especially in the areas of transacting business which if brought to bear, would go a long way in improving the economic fortunes of the country.

He said, the current challenges that have bedeviled the country cannot be resolved by one person alone, while expressing his hope that, Mr. Obi would willingly contribute his quota in this direction.

Engineer Sule, expressed gratitude to the Labour Party’s 2023 flag bearer for his efforts at cushioning the effect of the economic hardship on the people in the same way and manner both President Bola Tinubu and all State Governors are doing to ease the current hardship.

Earlier, Mr. Peter Obi praised the developmental stride of Governor Sule, especially, on roads constructed in the state.

He told the Governor that he was on a nationwide tour, to particularly show solidarity with the Muslim Ummah, especially, “during this Holy month of Ramadan”.

He thanked the Governor for the warm reception accorded him.
