BREAKING: HON. LUMUMBA DAH ADEH, WITHDRAWS FROM APC PLATEAU NORTHERN SENATORIAL ZONE PRIMARY ELECTION

Few hours to the commencement of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Senatorial Primary Elections in Plateau State, a former member of the House of Representatives, who represented Jos-North/Bassa Federal Constituency, Hon. Lumumba Dah Adeh has withdrawn from the race for the Northern Senatorial Zone primary election, citing “factors beyond his control”.

LUMUMBA ADDRESSING SOME ISSUES RELATING TO HIS WITHDRAWAL

In his letter of withdraw, dated May 28th May, 2022, which he personally signed and addressed to the Chairman of APC Plateau State, Hon. Rufus Bature and copied to H.E. Bar. Simon Bako Lalong, the Executive Governor of Plateau State, Rt. Hon. Idris Maje, the Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives, the Chairman of APC Senatorial Elections Committee to Plateau State, Tahu Ward Chairman, the Plateau State Commissioner of Police, the Director DSS, the REC, INEC Plateau State and the APC Plateau North Zone Chairman, Hon. Lumumba stated in part that, he took the decision after reviewing the prevailing situation.

“I write to inform you that, I have withdrawn from the APC Plateau State Northern Senatorial District primary election. The decision was taken after a review of prevailing situation and extensive consultations with stakeholders”. He stated.

THE LETTER

From REALITY findings, the letter has already hit the table of the APC Plateau State Chairman, Hon. Rufus Bature and the Chairman of APC Senatorial Elections Committee to Plateau State.
