The Chairman of Jos-North Local Government, Hon. Shehu Bala has congratulated the President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as Nigerians celebrate another Democracy Day.
Hon. Bala in a press statement he personally signed and made available to media houses in Jos, Plateau State, also expressed optimism that, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who is a true democrat after fighting for the emergence of democratic rule in Nigeria, would continue to uphold its tenets to ensure the overall development of the country.
The Chairman in the press statement also congratulated the Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang (Esq), the Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, the Chief Judge of Plateau state, Hon Justice David Mann and other democratically elected representatives of the people, while urging citizens to continue to work hard in order to sustain democracy in the country.
Stressing that, “it is the only the system of government, where the rights and privileges of the citizens are fully guaranteed”.

JOS NORTH LGC REJOICES WITH NIGERIANS ON OCCASION OF DEMOCRACY DAY CELEBRATION.
The Executive Chairman of Jos North Local Government Council, Shehu Bala Usman is congratulating Nigerians as the nation marks Democracy Day celebration.
According to a statement in Jos, Usman specifically rejoice with our amiable President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Plateau Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, Speaker , Plateau State House of Assembly , Chief Judge of Plateau, Hon. David Mann and other democratically elected representatives of the people on this auspicious occasion.
The Chairman noted that the sacrifices of our heroes past, who fought for the enthronement of enduring and lasting democracy in Nigeria, will not go in vein as their footprint in the sands of time shall always be remembered.
He expressed optimism that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who is a true democrat after fighting for the emergence of democratic rule in Nigeria, will continue to uphold its tenets to ensure the overall development of the country.
The Jos North Council Chairman urged the people to continue to work hard in order to sustain democracy in Nigeria, stressing that it is the only the system of government, where the rights and privileges of the citizens are fully guaranteed.
Usman used the medium to appealed to Nigerians to support the Tinubu led administration to ensure the smooth provision of dividends of democracy which the All Progressives Congress (APC) government has vowed to provide .
