THANK YOU! RT. HON. IBRAHIM BABA HASSAN TELLS JOURNALISTS AND THE MEDIA IN PLATEAU STATE

Former Deputy Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Baba Hassan, representing, Jos North-North State Constituency  has become the first Legislator in the State to  thank Journalists and Media Houses for the coverage and publicity they provided in the last 16 years across the country.

Rt. Hon. Hassan, who invited Journalists to his residence today in Rayfield in Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State, also thanked Journalists for the coverage and publicity they provided in the last 16 years for him and his activities in the House, especially when he was the Deputy Speaker.

While welcoming the invited Journalists to his residence he said, “I have invited you here as friends in order to thank you all for the coverage you gave to me and my activities in the House in the last 16 years.

“You all have helped my constituents and I, to understand each other hence, I was able to remain in the House these past 16 years.

“I have less than 6 days left now to represent my beloved people and constituents in the House, hence I decided to call you my friends in the 4^th Estate to say, Thank You!

“This is just why we are here. Thank you all!’

Although the invited Journalists were surprised by his gesture, they took time to pray for him.

It would be recalled that, Rt. Hon. Baba Hassan has filed a Petition at the National/State Houses of Assembly Tribunal sitting in Jos the state capital, to retrieve the mandate he believes the electorates in Jos-North/Bassa Federal Constituency gave to him in the just concluded general elections conducted by INEC.
