The member Representing Mangu North-East Constituency, Hon. Sani Idris has called for an end to the present senseless bloodletting currently going on in his Constituency in order to pave Way for meaningful developments in the area.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with our correspondent on Tuesday, Hon. Idris noted with sadness that, he was coming in at the most difficult and challenging moment of the constituency and therefore appealed for restraint.
According to the Lawmaker, so many precious lives including valuable properties have been lost as a result of what he described as “Man inhumanity to his fellow being.”
He gave an assurance that, he would channel both his energy and resources towards ensuring an amicable resolution of the seeming endless crisis to enable displaced persons returned to their ancestral homes.
Hon Idris, who noted that no meaningful development can be achieved in a Crises ridden society, called the warring factions to sheath their swords and create an avenue for dialogue.
He appealed to law enforcement agencies in the state to rise to their responsibilities to ensure quick return of peace in the war ravaged Mangu Local Government Area (LGA) of the State
Our correspondent also reliably gathered that, before his official inauguration, Hon. Idris has paid sympathy visits to most of the displaced persons at their respective camps where he distributed items such as food and materials to them, to cushion their hardships.
