BELLO LUKMAN IS A UNIFIER LIKE, DR. NNAMDI AZIKIWE—DR. PATRICK DAKUM

By: Valentine Adese (JP),

The former Gubernatorial Candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the 2023 governorship election in Plateau State has described Mr. Bello Lukman as a man who has taken the path of the late Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe and late Chief Obafemi Awolowo in trying to unite the people of Plateau State and Nigeria at large.

Dr. Patrick Sunday Dakum, who said this at the 6th Book Launch of Bello Lukman also expressed satisfaction over Bello Lukman’s show of his patriotism and contributions to nation-building.

Represented by Mr. Shabul Mazadu, Dr. Dakum in part said, “Bello is the Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe and Chief Obafemi Awolowo in his struggle for a better Nigeria that the youth should copy.

MR. SHABUL

“Zik and Awolowo in their youthful age fought gallantly for Nigeria’s Independence. They set a solid foundation for a better country, but as time went on we deteriorated and found ourselves in the current predicament as a nation.

“Nigeria needs youth who will rise up as Lukman and be committed to building a better nation. Lukman is working so hard and has six books to his credit, which all youth should emulate”.

Dakum lamented the time the youth spend on social media and the data waste just watching comedies and other unprofitable things, instead of reading and studying hard to know their country, state, and local governments.

“Without real and correct knowledge of the country, the youths are exposed to voting for the wrong candidates who take the country backward.

“The youth must know their country to be able to have the vision of the kind of nation they will love to live in, and what to do to make it a better place. And to avoid being used by corrupt politicians as thugs and later be dumbed.

“The youth should not take sides with their political party or candidates, but with Nigeria and work towards salvaging it by being patriotic and committed to the right course”. Dr. Dakum Added.
