WE ARE IMPRESSED WITH THE PROJECTS AND PERFORMANCE OF NASARAWA STATE GOVERNOR SO FAR---IPAC

The Inter Party Advisory Council (IPAC) has commended Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State for executing projects that have a direct impact on the lives of the citizenry.

The Chairman of IPAC, Alh. Yabagi Sani, gave the commendation on Tuesday in Karu, while inspecting projects executed by Governor.

Alh Sani, who also doubles as the National Chairman and Presidential candidate of the Action Democratic Party (ADP) said, the group had decided to go round the country to inspect projects executed by governors to ensure accountability in governance.

He disclosed that they had been in Kano, Imo and now Nasarawa State for a similar assessment aimed at ensuring that elected leaders actually deliver on their campaign promises.

According to the leader of the team, “they will not be able to visit all the projects in the state due to time constraints”.

He listed some of the  projects inspected including the  Sani Abacha Bus Terminal Karu, Luvu Road in Mararaba, the Permanent site of the College of Health, Science Technology Keffi, the dual-carriage Roads from Total Filling Station to Federal Medical Centre (FMC) roundabout and from FMC roundabout to Keffi.

Others are Keffi Neighborhood Market, Keffi Square and Museum, Antou Bridge and Arusu Road in Kokona Local Government Area (LGA).

The team also visited Akwanga LGA, where they inspected Moroa Road, the newly established Faculty of Engineering in Nasarawa State University Keffi (NSUK) at Gudi, a remodeled VIP Lodge and Events Centre, Neighborhood Market, as well as, a Neighborhood Market at Nassarawa-Eggon LGA, among other numerous projects in Lafia, the state capital

Alh. Sani maintained that the inspection was in fulfillment of the mandate of IPAC to deepen democracy, pointing out that, they were impressed with the performance of the governor so far.

The team was received by the respective Local Government Councils Chairmen.
