CLO CONDEMNS THE CYCLES OF AVOIDABLE VIOLENCE IN PLATEAU STATE, CALLS FOR CALM AND HARMONIOUS LIVING (Read Unedited Statement)

We call on government and critical stakeholders at all levels to ensure and pressurize the state and federal government to ensure no criminal element or merchants of blood in whatever disguise takes advantage of the curfew imposed in the state to further maim, kill and commit arson that would lead to further lost of lives and destruction of properties on the Plateau and or, other state of the federation.

Our empathy is to all those that have lost their lives, properties and loved ones.

We appeal for calm, peaceful coexistence and harmonious living, on the Plateau. This remains our rich history on the plateau.

This cycle of hate, innocent bloodletting, formal and informal repression must stop forthwith.

This we can and must be ensured by all else, we will all be victims and consumed.
