TWO (2) ANAMBRA SENATORS WILL SOON JOIN THE APC. EJIDIKE, APC CHAIRMAN EXPOSES

The Anambra State Acting Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Chief Basil Ejidike, on Friday, said, two senators from the state would soon join the party in few weeks time.

Ejidike, while reacting over the defection of the former People Democratic Party (PDP) Chieftain,  Senator Joy Emodi and her supporters into APC has added more chances for the party to win the 6th November, 2021, Anambra governorship election.

Emodi, who is a member of PDP board of trustees represented Anambra North senatorial district at the national assembly 2003 – 2010.

Ejidike, who express happiness over the defection while briefing Journalists at the State party Secretariat in Awka, the Anambra State Capital, emphasized that, APC is sure of winning the Guber election.

He announced that, the party, as at today in the state, has a total of Five Hundred (500) Thousand active registered members in the state.

He accused the state Governor, Willie Obiano, of piloting the affairs of the state from his USA residents.

“There is no security structure put in place, cultism practices has taking over Anambra communities, high rate of unemployment in the state among others has become the order of the day. And which is why, APC has come to provide what People Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), could not provide for 22-years of Democratic desperation in Nigeria.

He urged all members of the party in the state to come out in there large numbers and support the party during it campaign.

Ejidike, commended President  Mohammadu Buhari’s giant developmental strides in the South East on Second Niger Bridge, Enugu Onitsha Expressway, Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu Port Harcourt Expressway and school feeding programme as well as other micro-economic and social programmes.

He urged the Anambra state people and the entire South East, to support Buhari’s administration based on its achievements in the zone.
