ANAMBRA: Sit-At-Home Order: Two Shot Dead In Nnewi

Two persons have been shot in an alleged confrontation between the Nigerian Army and suspected members of IPOB in Nnewi.

Although details are still sketchy, another report has that, the two persons who died during the bloody confrontation that happened at, Izuchukwu Junction in Nnewi, were leaders of Eastern Security Network (ESN) and a commercial motorcyclist.

According to an eyewitness account, problem started at about 7am in the morning, when youths believed to be members of IPOB came out to enforce the sit-at-home order and in the process blocked major roads.

 

In reaction, some soldiers came to clear the items used to block the roads leading to an altercation between them and the IPOB members.

REALITY gathered that, the two persons killed were a commercial motorcyclist and a member of IPOB.
